Beat Loom

A sixteen-step drum machine. Eight synthesised voices, tap out a pattern, bend it with tempo and swing. Every sound is generated in the browser — nothing is sampled or loaded. Start from a preset and pull it apart, or clear the grid and build a beat from nothing.
How to play
Tap a square to add a hit, tap it again for an accent, tap once more to clear it. Drag across the grid to paint a run. Tap an instrument name to hear it on its own. Tempo and swing are on the sliders; presets are in the dropdown.
