Place one queen in every row, every column and every colour region so that no two queens touch, not even diagonally. Tap a cell to mark it with an × or place a queen; a placed queen automatically marks the cells it rules out, so the logic stays visible. Wrong queens and queens that touch turn red. Pick 6×6 for a quick warm-up, 8×8 for the classic size, or 10×10 and 12×12 when you want a real challenge. Your unfinished puzzle is saved automatically and waits for you on the menu.
How to play
Touch: tap a cell to cycle empty → × → queen. Mark/Queen button sets what a tap does; Auto marks the cells a queen rules out; Undo, Clear and Hint on the bar. Keyboard: arrows to move, Space/Enter to cycle, X to mark, Q for a queen, Backspace to empty a cell, U undo, H hint, M mode, A auto-mark, Esc for the menu. Mouse: left click cycles, right click marks.
