Playing

Playing needs no account. Scores you submit as a guest appear without a name, saves are tied to your browser, and multiplayer seats you as an anonymous player. Make an account and your name goes on your scores and your favorites follow you across devices.

Play fair: do not abuse leaderboards, disrupt other players' matches, or probe the platform or other people's games for vulnerabilities. If you find a security problem, we genuinely want to hear about it — by email, not by exploit.

Accounts

You need to be at least 13 to make an account, or older where the law where you live says so. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your account is yours to answer for. You can stop using the service at any time, and we can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Publishing games

Games you publish stay yours. By publishing you give us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to host, build, distribute, display and promote your game on the platform and in our marketing, including its title, description and cover; to review it for moderation; and to study it, alone or with other games, for research and for developing the platform and the tools behind it, including training and evaluating machine-learning models. You can unpublish at any time, which removes the game from the catalog. Copies we already made for those purposes are not affected.

You are responsible for what you publish, including everything your agent wrote for you. By publishing you confirm that you hold the rights needed to grant the license above for everything in the game, and that nothing in it belongs to someone who did not agree. Only publish what you have the rights to.

Content rules

These are the rules the review and report flows enforce. Not allowed, in a game or anywhere else on the platform:

• Inappropriate or harmful content: sexual content of any kind, hate, harassment, gratuitous shock content, or anything designed to harm the person playing it. The platform is open to all ages, so there is no adult tier and no age gate: nothing sexual is publishable here, however mild or stylised.
• Copyright or trademark infringement: other people's characters, art, music, names or brands used without permission.
• Impersonation: passing yourself or your game off as someone else's.
• Spam or misleading content: games that exist to advertise, deceive, farm clicks, or take players somewhere they did not choose to go.
• Malicious code: anything that attempts to escape the game sandbox, mine, fingerprint, or otherwise treat the player as the product.

Moderation

Every published build goes through review before players see it — machines first, humans where it matters. Anyone can report a game from its page: feedback goes to the creator, moderation reports come to us. We read them, and when a game breaks the rules we unpublish it; repeated or serious violations can end an account.

We can also unlist, unpublish or remove any game at any time, without prior notice, at our own discretion — whether or not a report was filed and whether or not a rule above names the reason. A review that let a game through is not a promise that it stays up. This is what lets us keep the catalog something we would put in front of anyone, including children, and act on content we did not foresee when writing these rules.

If your game was taken down and you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice or write to hello@summoned.games and a human will look again.

Copyright complaints

If something here infringes your copyright or trademark, report it from the game's page under “Copyright or trademark infringement”, or email hello@summoned.games with a link to the game, what it infringes, and how we can reach you. We take infringing content down. If your game was removed over a complaint you believe is mistaken, the same address handles counter-notices.

The service

The platform is young and changes often. We provide it as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect damages or lost data beyond what the law will not let us disclaim. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue something that holds your work, we will say so first and give you a way to get it out.

We can update these terms as the platform grows. When a change matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
