Privacy

The short version: you can play everything here without an account, our analytics run without cookies, and we collect what the features you use need — not more. Questions or requests about your data go to hello@summoned.games.
Playing anonymously
No account is needed to play. When a game stores your progress or a guest score, we set a cookie holding a random anonymous player id so the game can find your save again. It identifies your browser to the game, nothing else, and it is not used to track you across the site.
Accounts
Making an account stores your email address, your username, and your password in hashed form. Signing in sets a session cookie — the thing that keeps you signed in. Your public profile shows your username and the games you have published; your email is never shown to anyone.
We send email to verify your address and reset your password. Anything beyond that — product news, digests — carries an unsubscribe link, and your email preferences live on your profile page.
Analytics
We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used: page views and deliberate product events like “game published”. It runs in cookieless mode: nothing is written to your browser, no cookie and no local storage entry. Instead, PostHog derives a temporary visitor id on its servers from your IP address, browser and this site, hashed with a key that changes every day, so you count as one visitor for a day and cannot be recognised the next. There is no autocapture recording of your clicks or sessions.
If you sign in, analytics events are tied to your account id and username so we can understand creator journeys; your email is deliberately kept out of analytics.
Games themselves run in a sandbox that blocks third-party analytics entirely — a game you play here cannot load trackers.
What you make and send
Games you publish, scores you post, saves the games you play write, favorites you mark, and reports you file are stored so the platform can do what it says. Moderation reports are read by us; feedback reports are passed to the game's creator.
Who else sees data
We do not sell your data, run ads, or share it with anyone except the services that run the platform for us: our hosting infrastructure, our email delivery provider, and PostHog for the analytics described above. Each processes data only on our behalf.
Your data, your call
Write to hello@summoned.games to ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account and its data deleted. We keep data only as long as the feature it serves needs it.
The rules for using the platform live in the terms of service.
