A medieval battle royale for up to 16 players, with bots filling every match to 32 warriors. Fall from the sky as a star onto the Isle of Aldmere, loot swords, axes, pikes, bows and crossbows, armour up, ride horses or row across Mirrormere, raid the castle, the mine and the crypt — and outlast the violet Veil to be crowned.

How to play

Desktop: WASD move, mouse look, click to strike or draw/loose, right-click or F to block/aim, 1-2 weapons, Q swap, 3-5 pouch, E take/open/ride, Shift sprint, C crouch, Space jump/leap/wings, M map, V camera, G drop, R reload. Touch: left stick to move, drag to look, on-screen buttons for attack, block, jump, crouch, swap, interact and sprint.

New in v1.1

Smarter rivals that cross bridges, storm castle gates and outrun the Veil; the Hollow Crypt dungeon under Ravenhollow; falling-star reliquaries with rare loot; sharper first-person weapons; faster rendering in towns and a cleaner phone HUD.

The prophecy

*When the sky bleeds stars, thirty-two shall fall upon Aldmere.* Every match of Starfallen begins with that verse. Thirty-two warriors ride a comet — the star road — across the sky above the Isle of Aldmere, leap off wherever they choose, and fall as stars. The last one standing is crowned. Up to 16 people play together; bots fill every empty place so a match is always full.

How to play

  1. Leap. While the comet crosses the island, press Space (or the leap button on touch) to jump. Look down and push forward to dive faster; your star wings open by themselves near the ground, or press Space to open them early.
  2. Arm yourself. Loot lies on floors and tables in every house, tower and tent. Chests glint and hold better gear; golden reliquaries hold Starforged arms.
  3. Fight. You carry two weapons and three pouch items, and swap with Q or 1/2.
  4. Outrun the Veil. A violet storm closes on a different heart of the island every match. Outside it you lose health every second, more with every phase. The white circle on your map shows where it will close next.
  5. Be crowned. Eliminate the others or outlast them.

Weapons

  • Arming Sword — fast three-hit combo, good guard.
  • War Axe — slower, shreds armour.
  • Rondel Dagger — very fast; a stab in the back deals triple damage.
  • Greatsword — wide, heavy arcs that can hit several foes.
  • Battle Axe and Warhammer — the hardest hitters; the hammer staggers and crushes armour.
  • Pike — the longest reach, deadly from horseback.
  • Hunting Bow and Longbow — hold to draw, release to loose; a full draw hits harder and flies truer. Arrows drop over distance.
  • Crossbow — one devastating bolt, then a slow reload. Right-click to aim down the sights.
  • Throwing axes, fire pots and smoke bombs go in your pouch.

Every weapon comes in five rarities: Worn, Sturdy, Fine, Masterwork and Starforged.

Armour and healing

Helms, mail and boots give armour (up to 100) that absorbs damage before your health. A good helm also blunts headshots; boots make you faster and soften falls. Bandages heal to 75, Healing Draughts to full, an Armorer's Kit restores armour, and the rare Star Shard does both.

Places worth the fall

Kingsreach Castle on its plateau, the market town of Highmarket, the windmill farms of Millbrook, Saltwick Harbor and its lighthouse, Ravenhollow and the Hollow Crypt beneath its graveyard, Deepdelve Mine under the Greyfang peaks, the ruined abbey on the island in Mirrormere, the Old Stones, Wolfden Camp and the Emberfall Crater where a star once fell. Twice a match another star falls inside the circle and leaves a reliquary where it lands.

Riding and sailing

Horses gallop at speed, donkeys plod but endure, and rowboats and a longship cross Mirrormere, the River Wend and Saltwick bay. Press E to mount or board.

FAQ

Can I play alone? Yes. Quick Play always starts a full match; bots take every place nobody is in.

How do I play with friends? Choose *Play with Friends*, open a private keep and share the code or link. Friends who open the link land in your keep; the owner starts the prophecy when everyone is in.

Does it work on a phone? Yes. Touch controls give you a movement stick, drag-to-look and buttons for attacking, blocking, jumping and interacting.

What is the violet wall? The Veil. It shrinks in six phases toward a final point that changes every match; stay inside it.
