An endless cavern lander. Drop through a procedurally carved shaft, touch down softly and upright on a lit pad, and the shelf gives way into the next, deeper section. Narrow pads pay up to ×4, but every refuel is a little smaller than the last.

How to play

Touch: hold the left or right half of the screen to fire that thruster (tilts the lander that way with a partial burn); hold both halves for full thrust straight along the hull. Keyboard: Left/Right or A/D tilt, Up, W or Space thrust. Esc or P pauses.

How to play

You fly a small lander down an endless cavern. Each section ends in a rocky shelf with lit landing pads. Land on any lit pad to clear the section: the shelf then crumbles and you drop into the next one with a partial refuel.

  • A landing only counts if you come down slow, upright and with both feet on the pad. The lander's feet glow green when your current approach would land and red when it would crash.
  • Touching the cavern walls, the rocks around the pads or a mine destroys the lander.
  • Thrust burns fuel. The thin bar under your score is your tank. Run dry and you fall.
  • Deeper sections get narrower, rock tongues force you to zig-zag, crosswinds push you sideways (watch the drifting streaks) and drifting mines patrol the shaft.

Scoring

Each landing pays a base that grows with depth, times the pad's multiplier (×1, ×2 or ×4, shown above the pad), plus a softness bonus and a bonus for the fuel you still carry. Wide ×1 pads refuel you a little more; narrow ×4 pads sit in tight notches and refuel a little less.

Tips

  • Fall freely, then brake late with full thrust. Hovering is the fastest way to empty the tank.
  • Line up over the pad first, then descend the last stretch slowly.
  • Wait above a mine's lane until it has drifted past, then drop through.
  • When fuel runs low, take the closest wide pad.

FAQ

Can I play with one thumb? Yes. Holding one side tilts the lander and gives a partial burn, so tapping left and right in turn keeps you upright while braking. Two thumbs (both sides held) give full thrust.

Does it end? No. The cavern goes on forever and keeps getting harder; the goal is to land as deep as you can.

Does it work on desktop? Yes. Use the arrow keys or WASD, with Space or Up to thrust.
